The AGRIMODELS Cluster gets together for the EAAE Seminar
Between 5 and 7 October 2022, the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE), together with MIND STEP project partner, Thünen Institute, as well as the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and Humboldt University, jointly organised a seminar titled Greenhouse gas emissions in the EU agriculture and food sector - potential and limits of climate mitigation policies and pricing instruments. The event took place in Berlin, Germany where representatives from the three AGRIMODELS Cluster projects where present.
During the seminar, BESTMAP's partner, Dr. Manolis Tyllianakis of University of Leeds, led the presentation "BESTMAP - Discrete Choice Analysis of farmers WTA for adoption agri-environmental schemes in three countries." The main focus of the talk was placed on delving into the drivers behind adoption of four different agri-environmental contracts, including contract characteristics such as contract length, provisioning of support and bureaucratic burden level, as well as information of past experiences with AES and farm and socio-demographic characteristics.
